Vincent Badali, DDS
Dr. Vincent Badali is a Rochester native who was thrilled to return home after completing his dental training. He earned his dental degree from Stony Brook School of Dental Medicine on Long Island and completed a General Practice Residency at Upstate University Hospital in Syracuse.
His path to dentistry was anything but ordinary. Growing up, Dr. Badali worked in his parents’ pizzeria in Greece, NY, eventually managing the business and imagining a future building a pizza empire across Western New York. After graduating from college in 2000, he spent several years in sales before realizing he wanted a career that was a better fit. When it came time to choose his next chapter, he narrowed it down to two options: becoming a television weatherman or a dentist. He still jokes that he was choosing between two of the world’s least popular professions!
Fortunately for his patients, dentistry won out.
Today, Dr. Badali’s approach to dentistry is grounded in a genuine curiosity and a commitment to lifelong learning. He believes great dental care starts with listening, taking the time to explain your options, and making sure you feel informed and comfortable with your decisions. He sees the relationship between dentist and patient as a partnership, where your questions, concerns, and goals matter just as much as the clinical treatment itself.
Dr. Badali has remained active in organized dentistry at both the local and national levels. He is a member of the American Dental Association, New York State Dental Association, and Seventh District Dental Society. His professional recognition includes the Delta Dental Student Leadership Award, the New York State Dental Foundation Student Recognition Award, and a Certificate of Recognition from the Special Care Dentistry Association. He has also served on the Monroe County Dental Society’s Board of Directors and volunteered as the organization’s Business Chair.
Outside the office, Dr. Badali’s favorite job is being a husband to Megan and dad to Lila and Joe. Between sports, theater, and everything else that keeps a family busy, he spends plenty of time coaching and cheering from the sidelines—and making sure his kids grow up as loyal Chicago Bears and Cubs fans. In his house, that part is nonnegotiable!
Scott Gergelis, DDS
Dr. Gergelis was born and raised in East Amherst, New York. He obtained his bachelor's degree in Biology at SUNY Fredonia and attended the University of Buffalo School of Dental Medicine, graduating in May 2020.
After dental school, Dr. G moved to Syracuse to complete a one-year general practice residency at Upstate Medical University and the Syracuse VA Dental Clinic, further strengthening his restorative, surgical, and prosthodontic skills. He then spent three years in Pittsburgh practicing general dentistry.
In the summer of 2024, Dr. G and his partner Rosalie moved back to Rochester to be closer to his Western NY home. Outside of the office, he enjoys going to concerts, playing music, spending time in nature, attempting to cook, rooting for the Bills, and hanging out with his friends, family, and two cats.

Our feeling is that it is important that each patient understands their procedure and alternative treatments so that they can relax when they are in our chair.
